Biota Yellow Watchman Goby

The captive bred Yellow Watchman Goby is a beautiful goby that naturally varies in color a bit. They can be mustard, pale grey with olive-grey bands, or bright yellow, all with iridescent blue dots. This species has amazing color changing abilities, and hobbyists even sometimes witness their gobies changing color in their tanks. Though we aren't able to guarantee a particular color, you can help encourage brighter coloration by feeding a diet heavy in astaxanthin and carotenoids. Gobies on lighter colored substrates also tend to be brighter over time. It's also common for them to arrive with pale coloration or to be pale at night. This listing is for the yellow variety, which means they'll be more likely to be yellow in your tank.
